About Course
Course Description: In this course we will do theology (the study of God), anthropology (the study of man), hamartiology (the study of sin), in preparation for soteriology (the study of salvation).
Purpose: To give the students an introduction to the Doctrine of God and Man:
- so that they might more appreciate God’s perfections and holiness
- so that they might see how God intended man to be
- so they might understand the full consequences of the fall
- so that they might understand the great difference between God and man.

- God’s Work of Creation

- Doctrine of Man (Anthropology)
- Origin of Man (Biblical teaching and secular ideas)
- Man Created in God’s Image
- The Covenant of Life/Works
- How Sin Entered into the World
- Adam our Representative
- The Covenant of Grace
- The Covenant of Grace/Life in Greater Detail
